Abstract:Objective To analyze the infection distribution and drug susceptibility of 583 cases of Streptococcus agalactiae(GBS)in order to provide clinical reference. Methods Retrospectively analyze the distribution of 583 GBS-positive specimens isolated from Fujian Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 1,2019 to December 31,2020 and the results of the drug sensitivity test. Results The source and distribution of 583 GBS positive specimens were mainly genital secretions, followed by blood.Obstetrics is the most widely distributed department, followed by gynecology and neonatology. The drug sensitivity results showed that the sensitivity rate of 583 strains of GBS to 6 kinds of antibiotics, including Vancomycin,Penicillin,Ampicillin,Tigecycline,Quinupristin/Dafopristin,and Linezolid, was 100.00%.There was no intermediary or resistance.Drug resistance rates to Levofloxacin,Moxifloxacin,Erythromycin,Clindamycin, and Tetracycline were 28.0%,27.4%,58.3%,49.1%,75.6%.Conclusion Infection in pregnant women during the perinatal period can lead to adverse pregnancy outcomes. The screening of GBS during pregnancy and the preventive application of antibiotics during delivery of women in the third trimester can effectively improve pregnancy outcomes.
