Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of early enteral nutrition nursing in diabetic patients with severe cerebral infarction. Methods A total of 78 patients with severe diabetic cerebral infarction admitted to the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University from July 2020 to June 2021 were selected as research objects. They were divided into control group (routine nursing) and research group (early enteral nutrition) by drawing lot method, with 39 cases in each group. The control group using routine nursing method and research group using early enteral nutrition method. The adverse reactions, nutritional status (arm circumference [AC], serum albumin [ALB], arm muscle circumference[AMC] and triceps skinfold thickness [TST] of upper limb on non paralyzed side) and nursing satisfaction of two groups were observed. Results After treatment, AC and AMC in the study group were longer than those in the control group,ALB was higher than that in the control group, and TST was thicker than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total incidence of the study group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of early enteral nutrition in severe diabetic cerebral infarction has a high value, can improve the satisfaction and nutritional status of patients, reduce the total incidence of adverse reactions, and it′s worthy of promotion and application.
