Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of systematic pain nursing model in patients with cancer pain at home. Methods From March to December 2020, 130 patients with cancer pain at home admitted to the Eighth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University (Shenzhen Futian) were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the control group (65 cases) and the observation group (65 cases) by random number table method. The control group received routine pain nursing, and the observation group received systematic pain nursing on this basis. The two groups of patients were compared with the numerical rating scale (NRS) score, the number of burst pain, Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) score, cancer fatigue scale (CFS) score and the satisfaction rate of pain control. Results There were no statistically significant differences in NRS score, burst pain time, PSQI score, and CFS score between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05). The NRS score of the two groups after intervention was lower than those before intervention, the burst pain time was less than that before intervention, and the PSQI and CFS scores were lower than those before intervention, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The NRS score of the observation group after intervention was lower than that of the control group, the burst pain time was less than that of the control group, the PSQI score and CFS score were lower than those in the control group, and the total pain control satisfaction rate was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The systematic pain nursing model can effectively reduce the pain degree and burst pain frequency of patients with cancer pain at home, reduce the degree of cancer-related fatigue, and improve the patient′s sleep quality and pain control satisfaction rate.
