Abstract:Objective To explore the application of continuing nursing in patients with peritoneal dialysis. Methods A total of 60 patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis in the Department of Nephrology, Yunfu People′s Hospital, Guangdong Province from June 2020 to May 2021 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. Continuous nursing intervention was used in the observation group and routine nursing intervention was used in the control group. The medical compliance behavior, quality of life and complications of patients in the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the compliance rate of the observation group was 93.33% (28/30), which was higher than that of the control group of 63.33% (19/30), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of the MOS item short form health survey (SF-36) in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total incidence of complications in the observation group was 10.00% (3/30), which was lower than 30.33% (10/30) in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Continuous nursing in patients with peritoneal dialysis can improve their medical compliance behavior, improve their quality of life and reduce the incidence of complications.
