Abstract:Objective To study the clinical effect of self-made Shoutai Pills combined with Western medicine in the treatment of patients with uterine effusion in the first and second trimesters of pregnancy. Methods A total of 100 patients with uterine effusion in the first and second trimesters of pregnancy who were given medication in Jingdezhen Hospital of Chinese Medicine from March 2020 to March 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. According to the different medication regimens, they were divided into control group (50 cases) and treatment group (50 cases). The control group was treated with Western medicine, and the treatment group was treated with self-made Shoutai Pills combined with Western medicine. The total effective rate of drug treatment and the incidence of adverse drug reactions were compared between the two groups. The levels of hypersensitive C-reactive protein, tumor necrosis factor α, interleukin 6 and quality of life score were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. The disappearance time of uterine effusion was compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of drug therapy in treatment group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reaction in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). There were no significant differences in the levels of hypersensitive C-reactive protein, tumor necrosis factor α, interleukin 6 and quality of life score between the two groups before treatment (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of hypersensitive C-reactive protein, tumor necrosis factor α and interleukin 6 in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The quality of life score of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The disappearance time of uterine effusion in treatment group was shorter than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Self-made Shoutai Pills combined with Western medicine in the treatment of patients with uterine effusion in the first and second trimesters of pregnancy can greatly improve the levels of inflammatory factors, shorten the control time of the disease, reduce adverse drug reactions, enhance the quality of life and improve the overall effective rate of treatment.
