Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of percutaneous transforaminal spinal endoscopy on the cure rate and symptom improvement of patients with lumbar disc herniation. Methods A total of 60 patients with lumbar disc herniation admitted to Fuzhou First People′s Hospital from May 2019 to May 2021 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with traditional operation, the observation group was treated with percutaneous transforaminal spinal endoscopy. The treatment effect, postoperative recovery and hospital stay were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate in observation group was higher than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The operation time and hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, the amount of intraoperative blood loss was less than that in the control group, and the total incidence of complications was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The improvement rate of clinical symptoms in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Percutaneous transforaminal spinal endoscopy in the treatment of patients with lumbar disc herniation, can effectively improve the treatment effect, high cure rate, good symptom improvement, less damage to the patient′s body, low total incidence of complications, effectively improve the quality of life and recovery speed of patients, it is worthy of wide application.
