Influence of cognitive psychological intervention on psychological resilience and self-care ability of maintenance hemodialysis patients

Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of cognitive psychological intervention on psychological resilience and self-care ability of maintenance hemodialysis patients.Methods A total of 90 patients with maintenance hemodialysis in Jiujiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2019 to December 2020 were selected and divided into the observation group and the reference group group according to the random number table method,45 cases in each group.The patients in the reference group group received routine nursing in maintenance hemodialysis,the observation group was given cognitive psychological intervention on the basis of routine nursing.The Chinese version of Connor Davidson resilience scale (CD-RISC) was used to evaluate the psychological resilience of the two groups.Exercise of Self-Care Agency Scale (ESCA) was used to evaluate the self-care ability of the two groups.The Medical Outcomes Study 36-Item Short-Form Health Survey (SF-36) was used to evaluate the quality of life of the two groups.Results Before the intervention,there were no significant difference in the CD-RISC three dimensional scores and the total scores between the two groups (P>0.05).After the intervention,the CD-RISC three dimensional scores and the total scores of the two groups were higher than those before the intervention (P<0.05),and the CD-RISC three dimensional scores and the total scores of the observation group were higher than those of the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Before the intervention,there were no significant difference in the scores of each dimension and the total score of ESCA between the two groups (P>0.05).After the intervention,the scores of each dimension and the total score of ESCA in the two groups were higher than those before the intervention (P<0.05),and the scores of each dimension and the total score of ESCA in the observation group were higher than those in the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before the intervention,there was no significant difference in the quality of life scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention,the quality of life scores of the two groups were higher than before the intervention (P<0.05),and the quality of life score of the observation group was higher than that of the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Cognitive psychological intervention can improve the psychological resilience and self-care ability of maintenance hemodialysis patients,and help to improve the quality of life of patients.
