Abstract:Objective To investigate the etiological distribution of adult community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) in southeast of Beijing, and to provide evidence for the empirical treatment of CAP.Methods The etiological distribution of 620 CAP patients in Beijing Chuiyangliu Hospital from October 1,2016 to April 30,2020 was analyzed retrospectively. Results The positive rate of atypical pathogens was 40.8%, Mycoplasma pneumoniae was 39.4%;bacteria was 56.8%, Streptococcus pneumoniae was 35.8%, Haemophilus influenzae was 19.0%;the positive rate of virus was 19.7%,influenza A was 5.6%,parainfluenza virus was 5.6%.The positive rate of mixed infection was 43.5%, Streptococcus pneumoniae combined with mycoplasma pneumoniae infection is the most common. Conclusion Mycoplasma pneumoniae is the first pathogen of adult CAP in southeast of Beijing, followed by Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae.Influenza A virus and parainfluenza virus are the most common viral pathogens. The mixed infection rate of CAP was high in this area. This study initially revealed the characteristics of aetiological distribution of CAP in adults in the region, and provided etiological evidence for empiric therapy.
