Objective To explore the clinical effect of humanistic care in the postoperative care of senile cataract patients. Methods A total of 85 cases of senile cataract patients in our hospital from February 2018 to July 2019 were selected and divided into group A (n=42) and group B (n=43) by single and double serial number method. Group A was given routine nursing care, and group B was given humanistic care. The total incidence of complications, self rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self rating depression scale (SDS) scores and total nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The total incidence of infection, corneal edema and other complications in group B was lower than that in group A; the SAS and SDS scores of group B were lower than those of group A; the nursing total satisfaction of group B was higher than that of group A, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion It can reduce the incidence of complications, relieve the anxiety, depression and other negative emotions,and improve nursing satisfaction of elderly patients by integrating humanisic care in the postoperative care.
