Abstract:Objective To investigation the application effect of clinical nursing pathway in patients with nodular goiter surgery. Methods Forty-seven patients with nodular goiter who were treated in our hospital from May 2018 to October 2019 (all received surgery) were selected as the research subjects. Patients were divided into a reference group (23 patients, who performed routine nursing) and nursing group (24 patients, who performed clinical nursing pathways on conventional nursing techniques) according to the even-odd grouping method. The patients two groups were compared with each other about their knowledge of health and quality of life before and after nursing. Results The health knowledge awareness rate of patients in the nursing group was higher than that in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Before nursing, there was no significant difference in the quality of life scores between the two groups of patients (P>0.05). The quality of life scores of the two groups of patients after nursing were higher than those before nursing, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After nursing, the scores of physiological function, social function, and emotional function of the patients in the nursing group were higher than those in the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with conventional nursing, the advantages of clinical nursing pathway applied to the nursing of patients with nodular goiter surgery are more obvious, which can effectively improve patients′mastery of disease-related health knowledge and improve patients′ quality of life.
