Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of psychological nursing in nursing patients with acute angle closure glaucoma (AACG). Methods A total of 87 patients with AACG treated in our hospital from October 2017 to October 2019 were selected as the research objects. According to odd even number grouping method, they were divided into the reference group (n=43) and the nursing group (n=44). The reference group adopted conventional nursing methods, and the nursing group adopted psychological nursing methods on the basis of conventional nursing. The degree of anxiety and depression (assessed by the Hamilton anxiety scale, Hamilton depression scale), quality of life (assessed by the quality of life assessment scale), and psychological characteristics (impatientness, loneliness, loneliness, worry, nervous fear) were compared in the two groups. Results Before nursing, there were no significant differences in anxiety score, depression score, and quality of life between the two groups (P>0.05). After nursing, the anxiety and depression scores of the nursing group were lower than those of the reference group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Physical function, physical life, psychological activity, and social function scores in the nursing group were higher than those in the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of mental characteristics such as irritability, loneliness, anxiety, and tension in the nursing group was lower than that in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The clinical advantages of psychological nursing applied to the nursing of patients with AACG are obvious. It can relieve the patient′s anxiety and depression, improve their psychological state, and improve the quality of life of the patients.
