Abstract：Objective To study the application value of comprehensive nursing intervention in perioperative period of elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur. Methods From March 2018 to March 2019, 56 elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur admitted to our hospital were selected as the subjects, who were divided into observation group (n=29) and control group (n=27) according to random sampling method. The two groups were treated by incision and internal fixation of intertrochanteric fracture. On this basis, two groups were given different nursing methods, the control group used routine nursing, and the observation group used comprehensive nursing intervention,the visual analogue score (VAS), postoperative complications and hip function score (Harries scores) at each stage after operation were compared. Results There was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups before operation (P＞0.05). After operation, the VAS scores of the two groups were lower than those before operation, the VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). The total incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P＜0.05). The Harries scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). Conclusion The application of comprehensive nursing intervention in perioperative period of elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur is significant, which can reduce the degree of pain, reduce the occurrence of postoperative complications and improve the function of hip joint.
