Abstract:Objective To explore the application of open food provocation test(OFC)in infants with digestive tract milk protein allergy. Methods From January 2018 to March 2020,50 children with suspected digestive tract milk protein allergies were selected as the research objects. After hospitalization, milk protein was used to implement OFC.The clinical characteristics and OFC test results of 50 children were analyzed. Results OFCresults of 50 cases showed that 4 cases were negative(8.00%)and 46 cases were positive(92.00%).Among them, there were 41 cases(89.13%)with delayed anaphylaxis and 5 cases(10.87%)with tachycardia.Among the 50 cases,27 cases were blood stool(54.00%),25 cases were diarrhea(50.00%),5 cases were vomiting(10.00%),3 cases were rash(6.00%),and 2 cases were milk rejection (4.00%).There were no significant differences in monthly age,sex and clinical manifestations between the negative group and the positive group (P>0.05).There were no significant differences in neutrophil, white blood cell and platelet levels between the negative group and the positive group before and after the stimulation test(P>0.05).The level of neutrophils in the positive group after stimulation test was(3.48±1.64)×109/L,which was higher than that before stimulation test of(2.52±1.07)×109/L,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion A negative OFC test can rule out digestive food allergies caused by provocative foods, guide clinical interventions as soon as possible, avoid unnecessary dietary avoidance, and help children recover as soon as possible.
