Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of resistance training on cancer-related fatigue(CRF)and quality of life in elderly cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Methods A total of 60 elderly cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy who were treated in our hospital from September 2018 to September 2019 were selected as the observation objects, and they were divided into the intervention group and the control group according to the random number table,30 cases in each group. The control group received daily training, and the intervention group received resistance training. The improvement of brief fatigue inventory(BFI)and quality of life questionnaire:C30(QLQ-C30)after intervention were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the QLQ-C30 score (physical condition, role function, emotional state, cognitive status, social function and overall health/quality of life)of the intervention group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05).The total incidence of CRF in the intervention group was 73.33%,which was lower than that in the control group(96.67%)(P<0.05).Conclusion The elderly cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy with resistance training can significantly improve their CRF,promote the quality of life.
