Abstract:Objective To compare the effect of Super PATH minimally invasive hip replacement and conventional hip replacement in the treatment of elderly femoral neck fractures. Methods A total of 54 elderly patients with femoral neck fractures admitted to our hospital from August 2016 to August 2019 were divided into the control group (n=27)and the study group (n=27) according to the random number table method. The control group underwent conventional hip arthroplasty. The study group underwent Super PATH minimally invasive hip replacement. The intraoperative indicators, postoperative pain, and hip function scores of patients of the two groups were observed. Results The operation time of the study group was longer than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the length of the surgical incision was shorter than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the intraoperative blood loss and postoperative pain score were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); the hip function score of the study group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Super PATH minimally invasive hip replacement has certain advantages in reducing intraoperative blood loss, relieving postoperative pain, reducing wounds, and better improving hip function. The disadvantage is that it lengthens the operation time.
