Application effect of Taohong Siwu Decoction on early avascular necrosis of femoral head after core decompression bone grafting

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of Taohong Siwu Decoction on early avascular necrosis of femoral head after core decompression bone grafting. Methods A total of 60 patients with early avascular necrosis of femoral head who admitted in our hospital from January 2016 to may 2017 were selected as the study objects and divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The research group was treated with Taohong Siwu Decoction after core decompression bone grafting. The control group was treated with core decompression bone grafting. The clinical effect, hip joint functions and iconography evaluation of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). The hip Harris function scores of the study group at 3, 6, 12,24 months after operation were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05). The iconography evaluation of the study group 6 months after operation was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). Conclusion The application of Taohong Siwu Decoction in early avascular necrosis of femoral head after core decompression bone grafting can effectively improve the hip joint function of patients, speed up recovery, and the effect is remarkable. It is worthy of promotion and application.
