Abstract:Objective To investigate the application of cluster intervention in the prevention of urogenic agitation during recovery period after general anesthesia. Methods A total of 500 patients undergoing abdominal surgery under general anesthesia from August 2020 to February 2021 in Department of Anesthesiology, Jiujiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Jiangxi Province were selected as the research subjects. The patients were divided into the control group and the intervention group by random number table method, with 250 cases in each group. The control group adopted routine operation room nursing mode. In the intervention group, cluster intervention measures were implemented.Visual analogue scale(VAS)score,Ramsay sedation score, incidence of urinary duct irritation and agitation were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, VAS score in the intervention group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, Ramsay sedation score in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The incidence of urinary duct irritation (18.8%) and agitation (6.8%) in the intervention group were lower than those in the control group (42.8% and 29.6%), the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Cluster intervention can reduce the occurrence of restlessness and urinary duct irritation, relieve postoperative pain and drowsiness, and has a certain preventive effect on the occurrence of urinary duct restlessness after general anesthesia.
