Application of humanistic care in clinical practice teaching of neurosurgery

Abstract:Clinical practice plays a very important role in the training of medical students. The traditional clinical practice mode often focuses on the improvement of medical technology, but ignores the social and psychological needs of patients. The authors have pay attention to infiltrate more humanistic care concepts in the neurosurgery clinical teaching, including a series of specific measures of humanistic care education, such as the department-entrance education, the demonstration in clinical ward round and the feedback after teaching ward round. This paper summarizes and reports the experience of authors in humanistic education in neurosurgery practice teaching. It is expected to provide reference for improving the effect of practice teaching, improving the humanistic care ability of medical students and enriching the content of medical humanistic education.
