Abstract:Anal fistula operation will inevitably cause different degrees of sphincter injury and different degrees of dysfunction of stool control. The common complication are poor stool control, mostly manifested as anal exudate, loose stools, poor exhaust control, degree and mild bowel incontinence is similar. Biofeedback is a conservative treatment that requires lifestyle adjustments and medications, and is a first-line treatment for fecal incontinence. In recent years, international experts have recommended biofeedback as the gold standard for the treatment of fecal incontinence. Anal levator exercise is a simple and practical method of anal functional exercise, which has the dual role of preventing and treating anal diseases. Clinically, it can be seen in the application of levator anus exercise for constipation, postoperative anal swell, etc., and its effectiveness has been proven through research. Lifting the anus based on biofeedback can effectively help patients with anal fistula to recover after operation. The author believes that the use of high-resolution anorectal pressure measurement as an evaluation method, through the mode of action of biofeedback therapy, regulates patients to carry out effective levator movements, improves dysfunction of stool control after anorectal disease, and maximize the recovery of anal function, save medical resources, reduce patients′ financial burden, and improve patient satisfaction.
