Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of high-speed centrifugation on the detection results of coagulation indexes of severe hyperlipidemia specimens. Methods A total of 85 patients admitted to Yichun Second People’s Hospital from July 2020 to July 2021 were selected as the research objects, and the patients were divided into observation group (43 cases) and control group (42 cases) based on the presence or absence of hyperlipidemia. Both groups of patients used a 16000r/min high-speed centrifuge to centrifuge the specimens for 10, 20, and 30 min. The (activeated partial thromboplasting time, APTT), prothrombin time (PT), thrombin time (TT), and fipinogen (FIB) levels of the two groups of patients after centrifugation for 10, 20 and 30 min were compared. Results After the specimens of the control group were centrifuged in a high-speed centrifuge for 10, 20 and 30 min, the APTT, PT, TT, and FIB levels were compared at the three time points, and the differences were not statistically significant (P>0.05). After the specimens of the study group were centrifuged for 10, 20 and 30 min, in a high-speed centrifuge, the APTT, PT, TT, and FIB levels were compared at the three time points, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Compared with centrifugation for 10 min, the levels of APTT, PT, TT, and FIB were significantly reduced after centrifugation for 20 and 30 min, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The levels of APTT, PT, TT, and FIB in the observation group after centrifugation for 10 min and 20 min were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The differences were not statistically significant in the levels of APTT, PT, TT, and FIB between the two groups of patients after centrifugation for 30 min(P>0.05). Conclusion Severe hyperlipidemia specimens will affect the determination of coagulation indicators. Using high-speed centrifugation for 30 minutes can basically eliminate the interference of severe lipemia on the determination of APTT, PT, TT, and FIB, and improve the detection accuracy.
