Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effects of the Chinese version of Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (C-WISC) and the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Chinese revised edition (WISC-CR) in intelligence disability assessment. Methods Fifty children suspected of and confirmed with mental deficiency who were admitted to Xinyu Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2019 to March 2021 were selected and tested with C-WISC. Two of the four-in-one combinations (WISC-CR 1: I, S, PC, BD; WISC-CR 2:I, V, PC, BD) were selected, and the test results were compared. The intelligence quotient (IQ) consistency between WISC-CR and C-WISC was analyzed. Results The IQ test results of WISC-CR 1, WISC-CR 2 IQ and C-WISC showed no statistically significant difference (P>0.05). The Pearson correlation analysis showed that WISC-CR 1 and WISC-CR 2 were all positively associated with C-WISC IQ (P<0.05). WISC-CR 1 scores showed no high IQ, 5 cases of normal IQ, and 45 cases of low IQ. WISC-CR 2 scores showed no high IQ, 6 cases of normal IQ, and 44 cases of low IQ.C-WISC scores showed no high IQ, 5 cases of normal IQ, and 45 cases of low IQ. WISC-CR 1 was highly consistent with C-WISC in intelligence disability assessment (Kappa value=0.777), and the consistency between WISC-CR 2 and C-WISC in intelligence disability assessment was good (Kappa value=0.694). Conclusion WISC-CR (WISC-CR 1:I, S, PC, BD. WISC-CR 2:I,V, PC, BD), two of the four-in-one testing methods, are highly consistent with the IQ of C-WISC, which indicates that they can be used for intelligence disability assessment of children, or used as the main reference indexes for children with poor cooperation and tight time.
