Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of group visits model in patients with postherpetic neuralgia. Methods A total of 120 patients with postherpetic neuralgia treated in the Department of Pain, Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital the Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University Medical School from January to December 2020 were selected as the research object. They were divided into control group and experimental group by random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with routine nursing, and the patients in the experimental group were treated with group visits model on the basis of routine nursing. The pain, anxiety, depression, general selfefficacy and nursing service satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results One week after intervention, the scores of numerical rating scale (NRS), self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS) in the two groups were lower than those before intervention, and the scores of NRS, SAS and SDS in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The score of general self-efficacy scale (GSES) in the two groups was higher than that before intervention, and score of GSES in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The nursing service satisfaction in the experimental group was better than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Group visits model can relieve the pain of patients with postherpetic neuralgia, effectively regulate negative emotions, improve general self-efficacy, at the same time, expand the field of nursing work and improve nursing service satisfaction.
