Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of high-dose Furosemide combined with Aminophylline in the treatment of refractory heart failure in the elderly. Methods A total of 118 elderly patients with refractory heart failure who were admitted to the First Department of Internal Medicine, the Second People's Hospital of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area from May 2019 to May 2020 were selected as subjects. The patients were divided into a control group (n=59) and a study group (n=59) by the random number table method. The patients in the control group were treated with high-dose Furosemide, and in the study group were treated with high-dose Furosemide combined with Aminophylline. The clinical treatment effect, cardiac function indicators and adverse reactions between the two groups were compared. Results The total effectiveness rate of the study group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in the cardiac function indicators between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05). After treatment, left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) levels of two groups were higher than those before treatment, and left ventricular end systolic diameter (LVESD) and left ventricular end diastolic diameter (LVEDD) levels of two groups were lower than those before treatment (P<0.05). After treatment, the LVEF of the study group was higher than that in the control group, the LVEDD and LVESD of the study group were lower than those in the control group after treatment (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion The application of high-dose Furosemide combined with Aminophylline in the treatment of refractory heart failure in the elderly can significantly improve the clinical treatment effect of patients and improve the patients' cardiac function. It can be popularized and applied.
