Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Zhenzhu Tiaozhi Capsules for the treatment of hyperlipidemia. Methods A total of 80 patients with hyperlipidemia admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University from May 2019 to May 2021 were selected as the research subjects. According to random number table method, they were divided into experimental group (n=40) and control group (n=40). The control group was given conventional drug treatment, and the experimental group was given Zhenzhu Tiaozhi Capsules treatment on the basis of the control group, and all were treated for 12 weeks. The blood lipid level, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome efficacy and adverse events of the two groups were compared. Results There were no significant differences in the levels of serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05). After 4 and 12 weeks of treatment, the levels of serum TC, TG, LDL-C in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, while HDL-C levels were higher than those before treatment, and the levels of serum TC, TG and LDL-C in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, and the level of HDL-C was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total effective rate of TCM syndrome in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse events between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Zhenzhu Tiaozhi Capsules has a significant effect on hyperlipidemia, which can improve blood lipid level and TCM syndrome of patients more effectively, and has a high safety.
