Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of modified Devine surgery combined with dorsal foreskin skin flap turnover transvers treating severe concealed penis. Methods A total of 64 cases of severe concealed penis children admitted to our hospital from September 2018 to July 2019 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and test group by random number table method, with 32 cases in each group. In the control group, only dorsal foreskin skin flap turnover transvers was used. In the test group, modified Devine surgery+dorsal foreskin skin flap turnover transvers was provided. The surgery time, penis length 3 months after surgery, flap survival, and penis appearance satisfaction were observed. Results According to statistics, the surgery time of the test group was longer than that of the control group, the penis length 3 months after the surgery was longer than that of the control group, and the total satisfaction was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Modified Devine surgery combined with dorsal foreskin skin flap turnover transvers has a remarkable effect on treating severe concealed penis. It can not only extend the length of the penis and increase the survival rate of the flap, but also can obtain good penis appearance satisfaction from children.
