Characteristics of nosocomial infection in the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from 2019 to 2021

Abstract:Objective The characteristics of nosocomial infection in the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University were analyzed to provide the basis for further promoting nosocomial infection prevention and control.Methods The information of all inpatients in the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from 2019 to 2021 was retrospectively analyzed,and the incidence of nosocomial infection was compared.Results The incidences of nosocomial infection in 2020 and 2021 were lower than that in 2019,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.017).Nosocomial infection sites were mainly concentrated in respiratory tract and blood.Except for gastrointestinal tract sites,the incidences of infection in 2020 and 2021 were lower than that in 2019,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.017).The pathogens of nosocomial infections from 2019 to 2021 were mainly Acinetobacter baumannii and Klebsiella pneumoniae.Conclusion Related health measures such as wearing masks,strengthening disinfection and hand hygiene can reduce the risk of nosocomial infection to a certain extent.Hospitals should timely adjust and improve nosocomial infection prevention and control strategies and measures according to the actual characteristics and trends of nosocomial infection.
