Objective To explore the application effect of Qigu Capsules combined with Ibandronate Sodium in treating postmenopausal osteoporosis(PMOP).Methods A total of 100 patients diagnosed with PMOP in Nanchang Hongdu Hospital of TCM from July 2020 to April 2023 were selected as the study objects,and they were divided into Chinese medicine group and control group by random number method,with 50 cases in each group.The Chinese medicine group was treated with Qigu Capsules combined with Ibandronate Sodium,and the control group was treated with Ibandronate Sodium.The clinical efficacy,pain degree,ballistic missile defense (BMD)of lumbar spine and femoral neck,biochemical indexes and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The curative effect of Chinese medicine group was better than that of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The score of visual analogue scale(VAS),level of β-Crosslaps(β-CTX)and alkaline phosphatase(ALP)in Chinese medicine group after treatment were lower than those in control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The ballistic missile defense (BMD)of lumbar spine and femoral neck,serum calcium(S-Ca)and serum phosphorus(S-P)were higher than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the occurrence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P＞0.05).Conclusion Qigu Capsules combined with Ibandronate Sodium has better efficacy in the treatment of PMOP,which can improve bone absorption and bone metabolism,reduce pain and increase BMD,and has certain safety.
