Visual analysis of research hotspot and trend of horizontal violence in nurses based on Web of Science

Objective To analyze the research hotspots and development trends of horizontal violence in nurses based on the Web of Science database.Methods Literature related to horizontal violence in nurses was retrieved from the Web of Science core collection database from the establishment of the database until 17:00 on December 31,2022.The characteristics of the literature were explored.Histcite 1.0,VOSviewer 1.6.1,CiteSpace 5.5 and SPSS 20.0 software were used for bibliometrics analysis,and knowledge map was drawn.Results A total of 71 literatures related to nursing lateral violence were retrieved in this study,the number of publications was the largest in the United States,and some institutions cooperated closely.The first study on lateral violence in professional nurses was published in 2003,and 2015 and 2016 were the periods with the highest number of publications on lateral violence in nursing.The research focuses on three aspects:the generation,negative influence and coping style of lateral violence in nursing.Conclusion In recent years,the development of nursing lateral violence has been slow.In the future,relevant researchers should strengthen the research on the promotion of nursing safety cultural environment,the prevention of nursing lateral violence,the reform of nursing education and the theoretical explanation of nursing lateral violence,so as to ensure the healthy and sustainable development of nursing service industry.
