Abstract:Training in digestive endoscopy is of significant importance for the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases,particularly in the prevention and management of early-stage gastrointestinal cancer.However,current training programs in digestive endoscopy face several challenges,including steep learning curves,limited practical opportunities,individual differences among trainees,lack of real-time feedback and guidance,insufficient training resources,and varying levels of training institutions.These factors influence the effectiveness of digestive endoscopy training to varying degrees.To address these challenges,this review analyzes innovative teaching models in digestive endoscopy,including blended learning,virtual reality and simulation training,artificial intelligence-assisted digestive endoscopy education,remote teaching and guidance,as well as the development of personalized learning and self-directed learning programs.The application of these innovative teaching models is expected to overcome the current challenges in digestive endoscopy training,enhance training effectiveness and quality,and promote innovative development in digestive endoscopy education,ultimately improving the early diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases.
