Effect of Bazhen Decoction combined with chemotherapy on acute leukemia

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of Bazhen Decoction combined with chemotherapy on acute leukemia.Methods From March 2021 to March 2023,72 patients with newly diagnosed or relapsed acute leukemia were selected as research objects,and they were divided into control group(36 cases)and experimental group(36 cases)according to random number table method.The control group were treated with chemotherapy alone,while patients in the experimental group were treated with Bazhen Decoction on the basis of chemotherapy.The remission rate of chemotherapy,incidence of chemotherapy-related side effects and prognosis of the two groups were compared.Results The remission rate of chemotherapy in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The incidence rates of gastrointestinal reaction,liver function loss and renal function injury in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After chemotherapy,the values of Lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)and β2-microglobulin(β2-MG)in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion Bazhen Decoction combined with chemotherapy is effective in the treatment of acute leukemia,which can significantly improve the remission rate,reduce the incidence of chemotherapy-related side effects and improve the prognosis of patients.
