Abstract:Objective To analyze the prognostic factors of patients with diabetic macular edema(DME) treated with anti vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) drugs. Methods The clinical data of 82 patients with DME who were treated and followed up in Yingtan people′s Hospital from January 2019 to May 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. According to the visual acuity level after treatment, patients with best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) ≥0.3 were divided into group A (62 cases) and patients with BCVA<0.3 were divided into group B (20 cases). Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the prognostic factors of DME patients treated with VEGF. Results Univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in age, DME typing, DME stage and penetration degree between the two groups (P<0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that DME was localized (β=1.324,OR=3.746,95%CI=2.112-6.635),DME stage Ⅳ-Ⅴ(β=1.442,OR=4.229,95%CI=2.299-7.780) and permeability ≥500 μm (β=1.348,OR=3.850,95%CI=2.130-6.958) were risk factors for poor prognosis of DME patients treated with anti VEGF drugs (P<0.05). Conclusion DME localized type, DME stage Ⅳ-Ⅴ, permeability ≥500 μm were the influencing factors of poor prognosis in patients with DME treated with anti VEGF drugs, can provide targeted guidance for DME treatment.
