Abstract:Objective To explore the relationship between Chlamydia trachomatis (CT), Mycoplasma genitalium (Mg)and female infertility. Methods From January 2016 to March 2018, 165 female infertility patients who visited Nanhai District People′s Hospital of Foshan were selected as the case group, and 100 healthy women were set as control group at the same time. RT-PCR was used to detect Mg and CT, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect anti-endometrial antibody (EmAb) in serum. The positive rate of Mg and CT in the two groups, the positive rate of EmAb in Mg or CT positive and negative patients in the case group, and the correlation between genital CT and Mg infection and female infertility were compared. Results The positive rates of Mg and CT in case group were higher than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). In the case group, the positive rate of EmAb in Mg and CT positive patients was higher than that in Mg and CT negative patients, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Spearman correlation analysis showed that reproductive tract CT and Mg infection were positively correlated with infertility (P<0.05). Conclusions CT and MG are significantly correlated with female infertility. CT and MG and EmAb can be used as an important and effective method to diagnose female infertility.
