Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Budesonide atomization inhalation combined with Montelukast Sodium in the treatment of acute attack of asthma in children. Methods A total of 120 children with acute attack of asthma treated in Department of Pediatrics of Hongjiang Municipal People′s Hospital from January 2020 to March 2021 were selected as the research objects, they were divided into two groups according to random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Budesonide atomization inhalation, the observation group was treated with Montelukast Sodium on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effect, changes of pulmonary function, expression of serum inflammation and adverse drug reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The forced expiratory value (FEV1), peak respiratory flow rate (PEF) and forced vital capacity(FVC) in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Serum interleukin-17 (IL-17) and transforming growth factor-β2 (TGF-β2) and matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9) in the observation group after treatment were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse drug reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Budesonide atomization inhalation combined with Montelukast Sodium in the treatment of acute attack of childhood asthma has achieved significant results, the level of inflammation has been reduced, and there are no obvious adverse reactions.
