Abstract:Objective To study the effect of retroperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy for adrenal incidental tumor. Methods A total of 60 patients with adrenal incidental tumor admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University from January 2015 to January 2021 were selected as the subjects. They were divided into study group 1 and study group 2 by random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The study group 1 was treated with retroperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy, and the study group 2 was treated with transabdominal laparoscopic adrenalectomy. The surgical indicators, complications and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time, postoperative feeding time,off-bed activity time and hospital stays in the study group 1 were shorter than those in the study group 2,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The intraoperative blood loss in study group 1 was less than that in study group 2,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in study group 1 was lower than that in study group 2,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in preoperative quality of life(QOL) score between the two groups (P>0.05).All postoperative QOL scores in study group 1 were higher than those in study group 2,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The retroperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy can reduce the operation time, bleeding volume, hospital stays and surgical complications, and improve the treatment safety and quality of life.It is worthy of application and promotion.
