Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of nursing intervention based on the solution-focused approach on post-stroke fatigue patients. Methods A total of 120 stroke patients with fatigue severity scale score ≥4 who were treated in Binzhou Medical University Hospital from November 2020 to May 2021 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, the patients were divided into control group and observation group,60 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were given routine neurological nursing and followup after discharge, while patients in the observation group were given solution-focused approach on the basis of the control group. The fatigue severity, neurological deficits, the degree of disability and social functioning, the self-efficacy,the ability of daily living were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results After intervention, the scores of fatigue severity scale,National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale, and modified Rankin scale in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of stroke serf-efficacy questionnaire and Barthel index in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing intervention based on the solution-focused approach can reduce the severity of fatigue in post-stroke fatigue patients, promote the recovery of neurological function, speed up the rehabilitation process, and improve the patients′self-efficacy and self-care ability, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
