Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of emergency percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) therapy on patients with acute myocardial infarction. Methods A total of 66 patients with acute myocardial infarction admitted to Iron Coal General Hospital of Liaoning Health Industry Group from September 2017 to September 2019 were selected as the research objects, they were divided into control group and observation group according to partial coin tossing method, with 33 cases in each group. The control group was treated with thrombolytic therapy, and the observation group was treated with emergency PCI therapy. The cardiac function indexes, physiological indexes and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), left ventricular end systolic volume index (LVESVI) and left ventricular end diastolic volume index (LVEDVI) of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) and C-reactive protein (CRP) of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The effect of emergency PCI therapy for acute myocardial infarction is significant. It can not only improve the patient's cardiac function, but also improve BNP and CRP indicators, and reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions. It is worthy of implementation.
