Objective To explore the application effect of multi-directional spiral suture plasty of lower uterine segment in patients with placenta previa. Methods A total of 80 pregnant women with placenta previa treated in Kanghua Hospital of Dongguan City from April 2018 to March 2021 were selected as research objects and randomly divided into group A and group B according to random number table method, with 40 cases in each group.Group A was given BLynch suture combined with intrauterine gauze packing, and group B was given multi-directional spiral suture of lower uterine segment. The perioperative indexes, hemostatic effect and the incidence of complication were compared between the two groups. Results The intraoperative bleeding volume ([1 254.76±120.38] ml),postpartum 24 h bleeding volume([1 420.03±124.08] ml) in group B were less than those in group A ([1 758.46±136.29] ml,[2 289.64±346.27] ml),the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The operation time([83.05±3.67]min),lochia duration([43.10±5.14] d),hospitalization time ([5.06±0.87] d),postpartum menstrual rehydration time ([55.42±9.87] d) in group B were shorter than those in group A ([109.65±9.82] min,([59.82±6.39] d,([7.69±1.25] d,([72.19±10.31] d),the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The blood transfusion rate in group A was 25.00%,which was significantly lower than 47.50% in group B,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in group B was 5.00%,which was lower than 22.50% in group A,the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion In patients with placenta previa, the application of multi-directional spiral suture of lower uterine segment can obtain better hemostatic effect, less postoperative complications and high safety. It is conducive to promote the postoperative recovery of pregnant women, which is worthy of popularization and application.
