Abstract:Objective To investigate the expression of estrogen receptor(ER),progesterone receptor(PR),human epidermal factor receptor-2 (HER-2)and Ki-67 in breast cancer patients with ultrasound burr sign. Methods A total of 207 breast cancer patients admitted to the People's Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from January 2019 to December 2020 were retrospectively selected as the research objects.According to the characteristics of ultrasonic burr sign, the patients were divided into non-burr group(55 cases)and burr group(152 cases). The burr group was further subdivided into three groups: micro burr <1 mm at the base,1-2 mm burr and >2 mm burr. The positive expression rates of ER,PR,HER-2 and Ki-67 were compared between the two groups. Results The positive expression rates of ER and PR in the burr group were 82.2%and 78.9%,respectively,which were higher than those in the non-burr group (34.5%and 30.9%,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the positive expression rates of HER-2 and Ki-67 between the two groups(P>0.05).The comparison results of patients with burr sign with different base widths showed that the positive expression rates of ER and PR in patients with burr sign with 1-2 mm base width were the highest, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The positive expression rates of ER and PR are closely related to the ultrasonic burr sign of breast cancer, which can provide a certain reference for the differentiation of benign and malignant breast tumors and the selection of preoperative treatment for breast cancer patients.
