Abstract:Stroke is characterized by high morbidity,high mortality,high recurrence rate,high disability rate and rapid disease progression,becoming the top cause of death and disability among Chinese adults.Multiple complications may occur after stroke,and dysphagia is one of the most common complications.After stroke patients with dysphagia due to restricted eating will cause dehydration,malnutrition,electrolyte disorder and aspiration pneumonia and other adverse consequences,seriously affect the quality of life of patients,delay the process of disease recovery,increase the economic burden of family and society.There are many methods for the treatment of dysphagia after stroke,but there is still a lack of specific treatment methods.In clinical practice,swallowing training,swallowing function training,electrical stimulation therapy,nerve regulation technology,catheter balloon dilation,acupuncture therapy,traditional Chinese medicine therapy,acupoint massage and other methods are used to improve the swallowing function.This paper discusses the understanding of dysphagia after stroke from modern medicine and traditional medicine,and summarizes the rehabilitation methods of Chinese and Western medicine for dysphagia after stroke,in order to provide reference for clinical selection of rehabilitation treatment programs.
