Abstract:Objective To explore the prevention of venous thrombosis in bedridden patients based on the concept of patient safety.Methods A total of 221 bedridden patients who were admitted to the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from January 2018 to December 2019 were selected,for face-to-face questionnaires were conducted.Results The knowledge score for venous thrombosis prophylaxis in bedridden patients was (23.18±2.35),the willingness score for bedridden patients to participate in thromboprophylaxis was (30.21±7.76),the score for bedridden patients participating in thromboprophylaxis behavior was scored (37.62±5.54),different demographic characteristics can affect patient confidence scores.Conclusion The knowledge level of bedridden patients about venous thrombosis is low,and the patients with low education level and short hospitalization time are significantly lower than other groups of people.The willingness and behavior of bedridden patients to participate in prevention of venous thrombosis were at moderate level.Medical personnel should strengthen education,improve patients′ cognition of venous thrombosis,and promote patients to take the initiative to participate in the prevention of venous thrombosis,so as to reduce the incidence of venous thrombosis during hospitalization.
