Objective To explore the application effect of needle warming moxibustion in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis patients. Methods A total of 100 patients with knee osteoarthritis admitted to the Third Ward of Orthopedics and Traumatology,Yunnan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2020 to December 2021 were selected as research objects. They were divided into control group and experimental group by random lottery method, with 50 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with joint cavity Sodium Hyaluronate injection, the patients in the experimental group were treated with needle warming moxibustion. The visual analogue scale(VAS)score,Hospital for Special Surgery(HSS)joint score and clinical effective rate of the two groups were compared and analyzed after 1 month of treatment. Results The clinical effective rate of patients in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group after 1 month of treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The VAS score of patients in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group after 1 month of treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The HSS joint score of patients in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group after 1 month of treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of needle warming moxibustion in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis patients can promote the improvement of knee function, relieve the pain degree of patients, obtain higher treatment effect, and has significant clinical promotion value.
