Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of aspheric and spherical intraocular lens implantation in the treatment of cataract. Methods A total of 324 cataract patients admitted to Gansu Rehabilitation Center Hospital from January 2020 to July 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 162 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation. The control group was treated with spherical intraocular lens, while the observation group was treated with aspheric intraocular lens. The visual acuity recovery effect and operation satisfaction were compared between the two groups at 3 months after operation. Results The visual acuity of the observation group was better than that of the control group 3 months after operation, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The operation satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Both aspherical and spherical intraocular lens can play a role in the treatment of cataract patients, but aspherical intraocular lens implantation is helpful to improve postoperative visual acuity and improve patient satisfaction, which is worthy of further promotion.
