Abstract:Objective To investigate the efficacy of respiratory function exercise combined with Terbutaline nebulization in the treatment of patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD).Methods A total of 86 elderly patients with AECOPD who were admitted to Ganzhou People's Hospital during the period from August 2020 to August 2021 were selected as the research subjects.According to the random throwing method, the control group (43 cases) and the observation group (43 cases). The control group were given Terbutaline atomization +conventional treatment. The observation group were given respiratory function exercise combined with Terbutaline atomization+conventional treatment. The treatment effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the modified Medical Research Council scale questionnaire grading performance of the observation group after treatment was better than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the arterial oxygen partial pressure (PaO2) in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the arterial carbon dioxide partial pressure (PaCO2) and Creactive protein (CRP) levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Respiratory exercise combined with Terbutaline Atomization can not only effectively improve blood gas index, improve the total effective rate, reduce symptom score, but also have no serious adverse reactions in elderly patients with AECOPD.
