Application effect of different interventional methods combined with internal and external application of traditional Chinese medicine in cystic thyroid nodules under ultrasound guidance

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of different interventional methods under ultrasound guidance combined with internal and external application of traditional Chinese medicine in cystic thyroid.Methods A total of 60 patients with thyroid cystic nodules treated in Jiangxi Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from January 2020 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects,According to the random number table method,the patients were divided into the observation group and the control group,all of which had 30 cases.Both groups were treated with oral and external application of traditional Chinese medicine,the control group was treated with microwave ablation under the guidance of ultrasound,and the observation group was treated with ultrasound-guided lauromacrogol injection sclerotherapy.The curative effect,thyroid function and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The size of thyroid capsule at 6 and 12 months of the two groups after operation was smaller than that in 3 months after operation,and the size of thyroid capsule in 12 months after operation was smaller than that in 6 months after operation,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The size of the capsule in the observation group was smaller than that in the control group at 3,6 and 12 months after operation,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion Ultrasound-guided lauromacrogol injection sclerotherapy combined with oral administration and external application of traditional Chinese medicine can significantly improve the curative effect and thyroid function of thyroid cystic nodules,and has good clinical application value.
