Abstract:Follicular dendritic cell sarcoma (FDCS), as a clinically visible malignant tumor, has not yet formed a unified description of its pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment, which leads to its easy misdiagnosis and delayed diagnosis. Due to the different location of the disease, many patients often have different symptoms such as slow-growing painless mass, abdominal manifestations including abdominal pain, abdominal distension and abdominal mass, and constitutional symptoms. If not diagnosed as soon as possible and scientific treatment measures are taken, the physical and mental health of patients will be seriously affected. In the existing diagnosis and treatment records of FDCS, surgery is basically the main means to control the patients′ condition. Therefore, this paper analyzes the current clinical situation of FDCS from the perspective of review and tries to describe the related etiology and pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, imaging features, pathological features, differential diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of FDCS, to deepen our understanding of FDCS and provide a new perspective for future research on its pathogenesis.
