Abstract:Objective To analyze the application effect of management by objectives (MBO) in elderly patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture. Methods From October 2020 to October 2021, a total of 60 patients with femoral intertrochanteric fractures admitted to the Mindong Hospital of Ningde City were selected as resarch objects. The patients were divided into the experimental group and the control group, with 30 cases in each group. In the experimental group, the postoperative rehabilitation plan was designed via MBO, and in the control group, the patients′ rehabilitation plan was performed based on the conventional nursing method. The safety scores, self-efficacy, and Harris score of hip joint function of hospitalized elderly patients with femoral intertrochanteric fractures were compared between the two groups. Results The safety scores, self-efficacy, and hip Harris scores of the patients in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion MBO as an intervention is conducive to improving the sense of security, self-efficacy, and hip function of elderly patients with femoral intertrochanteric fractures after surgery, enhancing the quality of life of patients, and bringing benefits to the society and patients, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
