Application value of continuous quality improvement in health examination management

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of continuous quality improvement in health examination management. Methods A total of 120 physical examination subjects who underwent physical examination in the General Hospital of the Northern Theater Command of the Chinese People′s Liberation Army from March 2019 to February 2021 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by time grouping method, with 60 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were enrolled from March 2019 to February 2020 and underwent routine physical examination. Patients in the observation group were enrolled from March 2020 to February 2021, and the continuous quality improvement health examination management was adopted. The physical examination time, queue-jumping, anxiety and depression scores and physical examination satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The physical examination time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, and the queue jumping rate, self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) score and self-rating depression scale (SDS) score were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total satisfaction rate of physical examination in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of continuous quality improvement in the management of health check-up has a significant effect, which can effectively shorten the time required for check-up, reduce the occurrence of queue cutting, and improve the psychological state of check-ups. The clinical value is high, and it is recommended to be widely promoted.
