Clinical effect of intravascular embolization treatment in patients with intracranial aneurysm complicated with cerebral infarction

Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical effect of intravascular embolization in the treatment of intracranial aneurysm complicated with cerebral infarction. Methods A total of 70 patients with intracranial aneurysm complicated with cerebral infarction admitted to Affiliated Central Hospital of Shenyang Medical College from June 2018 to June 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and experimental group according to random number table method, with 35 cases in each group. The control group was treated with intracranial aneurysm clipping under microscope, and the experimental group was treated with intravascular embolization. The clinical effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate and the excellent and good rate of Alberta stroke program early CT (ASPECT score) in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After operation, the total incidence of new cerebral infarction foci and total adverse reaction rate in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Intravascular embolization can treat intracranial aneurysm complicated with cerebral infarction more effectively, with higher safety, it is worthy of clinical promotion.
