Abstract:Objective From the perspective of bibliometrics, this paper visually presents and deeply analyzes the pulmonary emphysema-related papers included in Science Citation Index Expanded Database (SCIE) from 2010 to 2020,and provides references for pulmonary emphysema researchers in China. Methods Taking the "pulmonary emphysema"papers collected in the SCIE database from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2020 as samples, bibliometric analysis was carried out from the aspects of publication year, national or regional distribution, research direction and hot spots, published journals, papers with high citation frequency and citation frequency, the clustering map was drawn by VOSviewer software. Results From 2010 to 2020, the SCIE database included a total of 7219 articles of "pulmonary emphysema", mainly academic papers, and the number of papers showed an overall increasing trend. The overall level of pulmonary emphysema research in European and American countries is relatively higher than in Asian countries such as China and South Korea. The research hotspots of emphysema mostly focus on the imaging and clinical manifestations of the disease. Conclusion The research of pulmonary emphysema is receiving more and more attention from researchers all over the world, and more and more scholars and scientific research institutions are engaged in pulmonary emphysema-related research. Compared with other countries in the world, the research of pulmonary emphysema in China is still at a relatively low level, and there is much room for development.
