Abstract:Objective To analyze the current situation and influencing factors of pelvic floor muscle training for female stress urinary incontinence. Methods A total of 94 patients with stress urinary incontinence who were treated in the Department of Gynecology, the Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from October 2019 to October 2020 were selected as the research objects. The implementation status of pelvic floor muscle training was investigated by questionnaire. According to the results, the patients were divided into the implementation group and the non-implementation group, and the influencing factors were analyzed. Results Among 94 patients with stress urinary incontinence, 41 patients (43.62%) performed pelvic floor muscle training, 53 cases (56.38%) did not perform pelvic floor muscle training. Univariate analysis showed that age, highest level of education, mode of delivery, weight gain, and current presence or absence of urinary incontinence were associated with the status of pelvic floor muscle training (P<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that weight gain (P=0.013, OR=2.855, 95%CI: 1.244-6.554) and urinary incontinence (P=0.001, OR=3.710, 95%CI: 1.718-8.013) were independent influencing factors of pelvic floor muscle training implementation. Conclusion The pelvic floor muscle training of patients with stress urinary incontinence is not well performed, and weight gain and the presence of urinary incontinence are independent influencing factors. Effective nursing interventions should be actively implemented to improve the implementation rate of pelvic floor muscle training in patients with stress urinary incontinence.
